These physician and non-physician health care providers utilize their extensive training, knowledge and experience not only to treat patients but to improve the quality and affordability of health care in the United States by providing their medical opinions as consultants. HealthAdvise consults for such entities as hospitals, insurance companies, medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, research and development entities, state and federal systems, US military branches and law firms. HealthAdvise offers its health care providers upon requests from these entities by providing any needed specialty and the essential support staff specific to each request.
Our support staff is extensive and includes a vibrant group of compassionate individuals from executives to clerical staff. These positions include physician and nursing representatives, office managers, physician and nursing recruiters, health care provider locators, legal nurse consultants, paralegals, a client outreach team, billing staff, quality assurance staff, collections specialists, and staff assigned to report writing and obtaining and organizing information such as medical records, timelines, etc. Our mission and corporate culture make HealthAdvise an outstanding place to work.

4. What sets us apart from other Organizations is that we are the physicians. We are not a broker. We work directly with TPAs, Adjusters, case managers and insurance companies to provide high quality medical opinions. Our reputations depend upon our quality, efficiency and professionalism as physicians. Our record reviews, opinions, and reports reflect this. Our QA team including senior physicians, mentors and support staff ensure that the reports are high quality, they address questions asked, and they are timely. We provide physician education internally for such things as AMA Guidelines to disability, impairment ratings and providing clear opinions that they can defend in a testimony if neccessary.
5. HealthAdvise has been recognized as an affordable solution to the very expensive cost of finding experts in various specialties and geographic locations. We are an affordable solution because we are the physicians and not the middle man. Why work through a middle man which only increases costs of claims? We provide quality exams, reports, and expert opinions at a reasonable cost in order to reduce medical management costs which saves our clients money.
6. HealthAdvise physicians are actively practicing in their specialty. They have been vetted by our group, approved by our board, and only those who have excelled in their fields are accepted as HealthAdvise physicians.
7. We provide comprehensive support for our physicians throughout the process, and our reports go through quality analysis prior to submission to ensure that each question is addressed appropriately. We provide ancillary support for the physicians and work closely with TPAs, adjusters, case managers, etc. to ensure that we schedule are doctors quickly and appropriately. Our reports are typically available within three days of the date of service. Our physicians are experts in independent medical evaluations, medical record review, cost of care evaluations, fitness for duty exams, Utilization review, Disability Examinations, and impairment ratings.
8. Our support staff facilitate any follow up requests from IMEs such as depositions, reevaluations, amended reports etc.
9. Our physicians are up to date on the latest information in the work comp arena.
10. Our physicians are keenly aware of the need for addressing key claim elements such as care appropriateness, current work ability, and discussions regarding causation and or apportionment if needed.
11. It is our goal to make the entire process run as seamless as possible and to use our extensive group of physicians to provide timely scheduling and accurate reporting at the lowest cost.
12. We provide a single point of contact for each of our clients to ensure timely updates and correspondence for all aspects of each case.
13. HealthAdvise is a physician-run group that uses its support staff to focus on the key medical questions rather than the clerical work. Clerical work includes arranging appointments, obtaining and organizing records, billing and answering requests and phone calls. We utilize our support staff for those tasks. This structure allows our doctors to focus on the medical issues and saves our clients time and money.
